Paw In Hand was created by Dr. Servantez, out of a deep feeling of compassion for pets who were unable to comfortably get to their veterinarian’s office and for pet parents who were struggling to find an option for a peaceful passing at home. As a veterinarian, she was able to help her pets transition in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her family.  She believes that this act of dignity should be available to every family.  

     Dr. Servantez attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2010. She practices both shelter and emergency medicine and has a strong passion for community medicine. She provides surgical services for various shelters in Los Angeles County, Orange County and San Bernardino County. Helping people and their pets has always been a driving force in her career and starting Paw In Hand was a natural extension of her community work. When she is not working, Dr. Servantez enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two fur babies- Pixie and Maui.
